Downtown Enhancement Project

In the last days of the 2010 Legislative Session, the Michigan House and Senate found funding for the State portion of the M52 project through the Village of Manchester and the Manchester Downtown Transportation Enhancement project tied to that. Design details are now finalized, grading permits are issued, and the necessary Right-of-Way property acquisitions are made. Construction work will begin in 2012, with Public meetings to be held by MDOT before construction starts to explain construction schedules, traffic detours, and other project information.
